The inspiration for the leaf series paintings developed after riding my bike during the fall. I was captivated by the vibrant effects of the sun upon the changing colors of the leaves. The leaf paintings capture the striking sunlight as it is reflected thru the leaves. This vision of the sun is represented thru the use of brilliant color. The incorporation of patterning of leaves throughout, recreates the dancing of the leaves in a light breeze.
